Well, recently we had the opportunity to explore Sugar Mountain, NC. This hidden gem blew us away with its picturesque mountains, and charming local feel. One thing’s for sure; this is definitely worth a winter visit, and beyond! The amount of adventure this town, and surrounding, offers is incredible for families. This stunning city is a gem! *This post is sponsored, however, all opinions are of my own. Recently, my family and I embarked on a journey to this quaint mountain town, eager to immerse ourselves in its charm and natural beauty. From the moment we arrived, Bryson City welcomed us with open arms. Our accommodation, a renovated school bus tucked away on glamping grounds at Gorgeous Stays , provided the perfect retreat after a long day of travel. A Unique stay in Lake Lanier to check out now!
Looking for an exciting stay in Buford? This tiny cabin will blow your mind. We recently stayed with Camp Margaritaville at Margaritaville Lake Lanier in Buford, Georgia for their annual ‘License to Chill” event. When you think camp, many people may think of RV or tents, but have you tried glamping? Glamping was one of our favorite activities last year, and quickly became a “must do’. So when we saw tiny cabins as an option, we were all for it! Barefoot Bungalow is one of 7 available cabins on the property. It is secluded in the lakefront community, and offers rustic luxury with minimalist vibes. The views of the sun…

our stay at Kimpton Aertson
Family travels’ best kept secret in Nashville! Disclosure: This post has been sponsored by Kimpton Aertson, however, all opinions on this hotel are my own. We love the Music City, and returned to Nashville for Wynter’s 3rd birthday. We did a one night stay at the Kimpton Aertson, a luxury boutique located in the heart of Midtown across from Vanderbilt. Since we went around holiday time, and the interior was beautifully decorated throughout. I got acquainted with the lobby pretty quickly from Wynter having to use the bathroom upon arrival! After a short 3 hour drive from Atlanta we headed straight to our room. Our room was the 2 Queen…

great hotel stay for families at Nashville’s Kimpton Aertson
Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post, however the opinions are of my own. The Kimpton Aertson Hotel is a 4 star luxury hotel that’s located right in the heart of Music City’s midtown scene, and is located right across from Vanderbilt. As soon as we pulled up to the front of this boutique style hotel I was impressed with the details. As soon as you walk in there is a beautiful fireplace surround by hanging rocks. I immediately felt the quality of this hotel. Lobby As you walk to the left to the front desk, you are greeted with a mini coffee, and hot chocolate station. This was so inviting…

holiday travel to the Wilderness at Smokies
What a fun weekend we had a couple weeks ago at Wilderness at Smokies! It was our first time in Sevierville, which is a little north of Pigeon Forge. We traveled from Atlanta late afternoon so when we drove in, it was dark and my GPS took us through one lane mountains for about 35 minutes. Everyone’s eyes were on alert LOL. the room We stayed in a 1 Bedroom Deluxe River Lodge unit which was HUGE. You really could fit about 7-8 people in there to sleep. It consisted of two adjoining rooms- one for sleep and the other for dining, tv, and family bonding by the fireside. Both…

ice skating in the smoky mountains
Wilderness at Smokies held it’s opening weekend for their real Ice Skating rink on November 11th. Last weekend we kicked off our holiday festivities and had the opportunity to go to Sevierville, Tennessee. Sevierville is just north of Pigeon Forge. We stayed at Wilderness at Smokies and checked out the opening of their 5th season of real ice skating, which is happening now through January 15th! The Gingerbread House was our first stop, which is an information center and where you can also buy apparel. They directed us to the “Boarding Station” to go redeem our skating tickets. Once we got those we walked over to the ‘Skate Exchange’ to…
