A Unique stay in Lake Lanier to check out now!
Looking for an exciting stay in Buford? This tiny cabin will blow your mind.

We recently stayed with Camp Margaritaville at Margaritaville Lake Lanier in Buford, Georgia for their annual ‘License to Chill” event. When you think camp, many people may think of RV or tents, but have you tried glamping? Glamping was one of our favorite activities last year, and quickly became a “must do’. So when we saw tiny cabins as an option, we were all for it!

Barefoot Bungalow is one of 7 available cabins on the property. It is secluded in the lakefront community, and offers rustic luxury with minimalist vibes. The views of the sun setting and rising from this cabin were stunning!

When you step inside you’re immediately met with this stunning white wood, and beautiful full kitchen. A television and comfortable sofa with a coffee table added to the luxury.

I loved that the kitchen was fully furnished with appliances, cooking utensils, dishware, paper towels…etc. It made for an even more cozy and home like feel. You really don’t need to bring much with you.

The bathroom is super modern, offering luxe appliances and thick bath linens. Also in this middle hall are the bunkbeds featuring individual television screens.

The main bedroom is towards the back with closet space, a queen size bed and television. We slept so well in this bed…definitely hotel quality.
Perhaps the most magical part of this tiny cabin is the lake access, and watching the sunset and rise on the water! The cabins include a firepit, charcoal grill, and chairs close to the water so you can take in the beauty of the water while roasting s’mores and sitting back. This is truly a one of a kind experience.

How do I book?
Head to Camp Margaritaville’s website and select ‘Cabin Rental’. You’ll also see other available accommodations such as RVs and glamping tents. We stayed in ‘Barefoot Bungalow’ .
What should I bring?
Find a list of amenities here. Essentially, bring your clothes and personal items, food, and drinks. Everything else will be provided, or available for purchase onsite if you forget!
Does staying here also give me access to Margaritaville at Lanier Islands?
Yes! Access to LandShark Landing and the beach are complimentary with your stay.

We had a great time with Camp Margaritaville/Margaritaville Lake Lanier. So many fun memories here, and the kids are looking for another tiny cabin stay! Cheers to more glamping in 2024!
