our stay at Kimpton Aertson
Family travels’ best kept secret in Nashville!
Disclosure: This post has been sponsored by Kimpton Aertson, however, all opinions on this hotel are my own.

We love the Music City, and returned to Nashville for Wynter’s 3rd birthday. We did a one night stay at the Kimpton Aertson, a luxury boutique located in the heart of Midtown across from Vanderbilt. Since we went around holiday time, and the interior was beautifully decorated throughout. I got acquainted with the lobby pretty quickly from Wynter having to use the bathroom upon arrival!

After a short 3 hour drive from Atlanta we headed straight to our room. Our room was the 2 Queen suite, which was very spacious for us. 675 sq feet of space that included a living space, huge walk in shower, and concrete ceilings and walls. I loved every detail of this room! Check out a room tour here.

Time was spent most in the living room space! We let Golden relax a bit in the hotel provided MamaRoo4 infant seat, while DJ and I unpacked some things! This was so convenient and helped keep him stay entertained, with Wynter reading to him and while Jionni played with his toys. It was just like home with the sofa, the room to bounce around a little, and the big tv to watch our shows.

Because we arrived later in the evening, we were ready to eat, and headed downstairs to their onsite restaurant, Henley. DJ and I had one of their signature Christmas drinks, Tis the Season which was SO GOOD! DJ had the cheeseburger, the kids had the chicken wings, and I had the Hummus. It is a bit pricey, and you can probably grab a pizza offsite, but it was convenient! Their breakfast is also solid for the whole family! Check out the menu, prices, and hours here.

On our way back to the room we decided to check out the gym. Typically DJ wakes up in the mornings and goes to work out so we always have to see what the gyms offer. We loved that there was a Peloton! Weights, bikes, yoga balls, and treadmills made it a gym worth the time. The gym is also handicap accessible with a ramp! Towels and water are also provided!

When we got back to the room we ran into our pjs, sat in the living area watching tv and spent time together. We finally turned in for the night in the most comfortable beds! It felt like we fell into a sea of clouds and pillows- so soft and provided the best sleep!

The next day was Wynter’s birthday, so we got ready to go celebrate her on the town. Check out was at 12pm and was a breeze. We took photos in her birthday outfit around the hotel before grabbing some of their hot cocoa and heading out.

How can I book?
I highly recommend a stay at Kimpton Aertson! The perfect accommodation for us as a family of 5 with an infant! Because we only stayed 1 night and checked in late, we didn’t get to all of the amenities, however, we’ll definitely be returning. This was classic Kimpton luxury with an amazing family friendly touch! Book your stay here .
